Abstract

Introduction: In order to leave a precedent that is useful for future generations of administrative collaborators who find themselves in the need to assume circumstances derived from some contingency, this work concentrates tools, guidelines, as well as various implementations that were carried out at a strategic level. and organizational with the administrative staff who worked during the Covid-19 pandemic at a University in the Mexican Southeast. Objective: The general objective of this research is to make a proposal that promotes improvements in the guidelines that were applied in the administration of the University during the different stages of the contingency. Methods: The research is applied, of exploratory depth, of a quantitative type, with a non-experimental, longitudinal design, where, for example, the restrictions that the personnel faced with respect to the infrastructure, equipment and logistics for the study are mentioned. achievement of its functions. Results: The results show a proposal for management and continuous improvement based on the experience gained by the need for social isolation during the ravages of Covid-19, which allows better control over the adversities that may arise in a case of risk. for the health and integrity of the collaborators, thus promoting outstanding concepts such as planning, forecasting, prevention and response to risks. Conclusions: This vision of the labor situation confirms the importance of administrative/economic planning and forecasting to which entities must always submit, since only in this way increases the probability of combating in a more efficient and effective way a response to some event that requires modifying and/or adapting normality.
